Hui's journey began in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. Faced with the challenge of creating a custom home, Hui and her husband encountered obstacles when traditional builders found their design too custom. The financial instability in the building industry further compounded their difficulties, making it clear that working with a traditional builder wasn't a viable option.
